AMY MATYSIO (Creator + Writer + Producer)
Amy Matysio is a Canadian actor/comedian, writer and producer. One of Canada’s most dynamic and sought after comedic performers, she has been nominated for six Canadian Comedy Awards, two Lieutenant Governor’s Arts Awards, as well as a YWCA Woman of Distinction Award. In 2010 she was named to Playback’s “Top Ten to Watch” list and shortly after began work co-starring in Showcase’s original comedy Single White Spenny. Marking her directorial debut, she recently completed her short film ’Mode: Delicate’, which she also wrote and co-produced. As a a creative director she has worked alongside break-out Canadian filmmaker Preston Kanak (3 Minute Shorts) producing music and promotional short films. She has been a contributing writer for CBC Radio, Regina’s live variety show Red Hot Riot, TitleWave Creative and is a fourteen year ensemble member with the acclaimed General Fools Improv Theatre Co.
MARK MONTAGUE (Producer)
A graduate of one of Canada’s top rated postgraduate media art schools, and with almost a decade of experience in the industry, Mark Montague has gained an extensive background in all areas of Film and Television production. His thesis film Telemarketers screened at the Canadian Embassy in the Best of Canadian Shorts program at the 2006 Washington DC International Short Film Festival. After working in development for Sam Rami and Robert G. Tapert at Ghosthouse Pictures, Mark returned to Canada to produce with Kevin DeWalt at Minds Eye Entertainment.
JEFF BEESLEY (Director)
Jeff Beesley is one of Canada’s most exciting young talents. With his unique style and vision, Jeff has achieved much acclaim for his body of work. His productions have garnered positive praise from festival screening and have won numerous regional, national and International awards. Jeff has directed the two most successful and critically acclaimed Canadian television series’ currently in production – Little Mosque on the Prairie and Corner Gas. Jeff has the rare distinction of directing primetime television series’ simultaneously airing on each of Canada’s major television networks with Corner Gas (CTV), Little Mosque (CBC) and renegade press.com (Global Television). Most recently Jeff directed the new Comedy series Insecurity and Men with Brooms and also the new feature film Dolan’s Cadillac which is the latest in the Stephen King collection.
